Ms. Moss Muschio has over thirteen years of experience working as a Marriage, Family Therapist.  Educated and born in Southern California, she moved to Sacramento area in 1997.  In 1993, she received a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.  This educational experience reinforced Ms. Moss Muschio’s has a strong interest in helping other from diverse backgrounds.  She believes in social equality, and the power of our minds in thought and action.

    Her education has continued and includes multiple course work in the assessment, and treatment of substance abuse.  She has twenty two years of experience in the “recovery community, which includes co-dependent, addiction recovery, and sexual abuse.

    In 2005 she took a Certificate in Play Therapy from JFK University at Pleasant Hill, CA.  That means completion an additional 60 units of course work in Play Therapy.  Her office includes a Play Room for the treatment of children as young as 3 years old.  She is a current trainee with the association of TheraPlay® Institute in Chicago, IL.  TheraPlay® is an attachment based form of child therapy.  It works well in adoption, divorce, drug addicted and other attachment issues.

    She has a strong grounding in couples and family therapy.  She treats all couple’s relationships, with issues like infidelity, financial problems, parenting conflict.  She is a ‘leader trainer’ in Relationship Enhancement® Program.  GLBT persons are welcome.
